With a central location, Kiosco Colón is an ideal spot for both locals and travelers looking to savor the authentic flavors of the region.
Here, you will find a diverse menu that caters to all appetites, but one standout dish that has garnered rave reviews is the Solomillo Ibérico. Customers have praised its tender texture and succulent taste, especially when paired with the rich peppercorn sauce. It's a specialty that echoes the culinary heritage of Spain and is worth every bite. As Mark Horton noted in his review, this dish makes a visit to Kiosco Colón an absolute must.
The tapas at Kiosco Colón also shine brightly. Diners like Michael Freed appreciate the variety and quality, making it a lovely experience to share with friends over a couple of drinks. The bar's vibrant atmosphere enhances the tapas experience, whether you’re seated in the sunshine or under the shade of the park’s trees.
For breakfast lovers, Kiosco Colón presents a selection of traditional dishes that truly capture the essence of Cáceres. As A G passionately shared, the Torrijas and Migas have earned perfect scores, offering a delicious start to the day infused with local flavors. Each plate comes with generous portions, ensuring that you’re set for a delightful morning.
Adding to its charm, the staff at Kiosco Colón are known for their friendly demeanor, making customers feel right at home. Whether you’re just stopping for a morning coffee, as Richard Sewell experienced, or indulging in a full meal, the service is attentive and welcoming, adding to the overall ambiance.

Pretty good value Menu del día given the central location (and the setting is very nice), had excellent service from a particular waiter, the Solomillo Ibérico was gorgeously done, underdone & as tender as you like in a very nice peppercorn sauce. Goats Cheese & Onion salad starter was pretty good but realized I've bought a jar of that caramelized onion myself in the supermarket, so nothing special overall, you could easily throw that salad together at home, but I would very likely not cook the Solomillo that well, was worth the visit alone. Given the difficulty getting a table in the old town at lunchtime, being able to stroll out to here & not wait long for a table was very welcome.

Enjoyed a morning coffee in the early spring sunshine, whilst walking Camino Via de la Plata. Nice cosmopolitan atmosphere.
